Building quality into everything we do
At Travel and Transport New England, quality control has been built into every online reservation our
travel agents handle.
Through the use of our in-house automated quality control system, Cornerstone, our
travel agents ensure that every booking is 100% accurate, adheres to each traveler's
personal travel preferences, and most importantly, complies with your company's
travel policies.
Cornerstone audits more than 150 different elements contained in a typical reservation
record, including correct credit card numbers, travel authorization codes, contract
or department number, lowest fare, and seat preference. If any aspect of a booking
has not been properly addressed or included, the reservation is returned to the
booking travel agent. If left uncorrected, Cornerstone will prevent the record from
being ticketed, and automatically place it in a special supervisory queue for follow-up
action.
In addition, Cornerstone offers:
- Seat Checker – Performs a search 24 hours a day, every day, right
up to the departure date to find if a traveler's preferred seat is available
- Waitlist Checker – Enables agents to quickly cancel and rebook
any waitlisted segments of travel plans as new options become available
